As we started to get to know each other more, we discovered that we had even more in common than just our founding year. The partnership between ACUE and Teaching in Higher Ed seeks to connect expert educators with those who are seeking to better facilitate learning.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tCOLLABORATION\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACUE<\/a> and Teaching in Higher Ed discovered how many experts both organizations had featured in common, we set about creating a more <a href=\"https:\/\/teachinginhighered.com\/2017\/11\/01\/acue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">formal partnership<\/a> to collaborate on bringing people into our respective platforms.\u00a0Once a month, <a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACUE<\/a> provides Teaching in Higher Ed with a podcast guest and then features the episode in their biweekly newsletter.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\tABOUT ACUE\n\t<\/h3>\n\t<p><a href=\"http:\/\/acue.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACUE<\/a> makes for a great partner with Teaching in Higher Ed, because of their shared belief in the critical role that faculty members and great teaching play in the success of students. <\/p>\n<p>In partnership with institutions of higher education nationwide, ACUE supports and credentials faculty members in using the evidence-based teaching practices that drive student engagement, retention, and learning. Faculty members who complete <a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/courses\/catalog\/\">ACUE courses<\/a> earn <a href=\"https:\/\/acue.org\/courses\/certificates\/\">certificates<\/a> in effective college instruction <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acenet.edu\/news-room\/Pages\/ACE-ACUE-College-Instruction-Collaboration.aspx\">endorsed by the American Council on Education<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>ACUE's <a href=\"http:\/\/community.acue.org\/\">Community<\/a> of Professional Practice connects college educators from across the country through member forums, podcasts, and updates on the latest developments in the scholarship of teaching and learning.
